Daniel Booyens
Daniel is a trauma-informed coach and counsellor, dedicated to supporting people through mourning, loss, mental health challenges and life’s turning points.
“My path to this work began not in theory, but in lived experience, in crisis, in leadership, and in service. From a volunteer counsellor in victim empowerment programs to decades in business leadership, I have witnessed both resilience and rupture.”
Over time, these experiences shaped a quiet conviction: that people heal not through quick fixes, but through being deeply seen, understood, and met with honesty and presence. Today, Daniel brings that depth into his practice, offering grounded, compassionate guidance that helps clients rebuild clarity, reconnect with their inner strength, and move forward with intention.
What I do
My work is for those navigating loss, identity shifts, and the quiet aftermath of trauma. No two sessions are the same — each journey is unique. Together, we explore the visible and invisible: the griefs without names, the patterns that keep you stuck, and the deeper truths waiting to be uncovered.
This is not quick-fix work. It is layered, spacious, and rooted in trust. I bring presence, insight, and direction; you bring your lived truth. From that meeting, transformation unfolds.
My Training & Credentials:
- Counselling and coaching – accredited and certified Bachelor-level ( post bachelor – HBO), Academy for Coaching and Counselling, Netherlands
